Here is a little recap of our quick trip to Tucson, AZ with my cousin and her fiancé! Saguaro National Park is in Tucson so if you like to see national parks this is a great place to visit.
Hot Dogs Alvarado
I have never had a sonoran hot dog until we stopped at Hot Dogs Alvarado on the way to Tucson and they are AMAZING. Hot Dogs Alvarado is literally just a little trailer as shown above with about 3 tables and a couple chairs! The workers were so nice and the hot dogs were delicious. This is a must-try, located outside of Tucson in Eloy, AZ. There were four of us eating the hot dogs by the way, which is why eight are pictured below lol. The guys ended up each eating three they loved them so much!

Where We Stayed
We stayed at JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort and I cannot recommend this place enough! It is beautiful, has amazing views, great garlic hummus, Diet Pepsi at the bar, and refreshing infused water always available!

Tombstone, AZ
We made the drive out to Tombstone, Arizona one of the days and it was pretty cool! I don’t think I need to go back but it was cool to see and learn about. We paid for the gun fight skit which was comical but also very interesting!

Saguaro National Park
Saguaro National Park was beautiful! We hiked EIGHT miles, I don’t know how lol but we did it. I barely made it out but felt very accomplished afterwards. We hiked up to the “waterfall” which was the turnaround point. I couldn’t help but laugh at this being called a waterfall (picture below). The temperature difference here and outside of this spot was bizarre! That water was freezing cold. As you can see, Tommy and I still need to invest in actual hiking shoes- I don’t recommend the shoes we currently wear when we hike which our just our running/workout shoes.
