Steak tacos are one of my favorite meals at Beef ‘O’ Brady’s (and just in general), and since we’ve been trying to save money and make healthier decisions I decided to recreate them at home. The tacos I get at the restaurant are served with a delicious poblano sauce, which I have found can be substituted with cilantro avocado yogurt dressing. These tacos were so good and on point that I had them two nights in a row.
It has been far too cold and windy to grill so I decided to pan-fry the steak instead. I used a sirloin and seasoned it with Pink Himalayan salt, black pepper, minced onion, and rib rub. I cooked the sirloin on medium-high heat in avocado oil until perfectly done!
Once cooked, I diced the steak so it was easier to eat. I used small white flour tortillas (awful I know) and then topped them with Bolthouse Farms cilantro avocado yogurt dressing, lettuce, shredded Mexican cheese, and the diced steak! This yogurt dressing tastes similar to the poblano sauce at Beef ‘O’ Brady’s which in my opinion is the key component in their steak tacos that I LOVE.
Oh, and this took all of less than 15 minutes.
