Eggs have never been a favorite of mine unless cooked certain ways and mixed with veggies and cheese, but I have finally found a way that I LOVE them without needing to cut up veggies and sauté them first.
Ingredients for The Best Scrambled Eggs
- 1 Whole Egg, 2 Egg Whites
- Splash of Water
- Splash of Heavy Cream or Almond Milk
- Shredded Cheese
- Black Pepper and Garlic Powder or California Garlic Pepper
- Dried Chives
- Dried Parsley
- Dried or Fresh Cilantro
- Dried Minced Onion
- Frank’s RedHot Wings Buffalo Sauce, Tabasco, or Your Choice Hot Sauce
I scramble my eggs on low to medium heat so they cook a bit slower because I do NOT like the smell of eggs when they start overcooking. They tend to come out a bit fluffier when they are cooked slowly and stirred often.
When the eggs are finishing up I add in a little more shredded cheese because yum, and a good drizzle of hot sauce. Hot sauce is the best part, am I right!? I’ve been trying to incorporate eggs a couple of times a week for some protein as that is something I know I’m lacking lately.
